Dear Xanga,
I want to have control over my own comments. If I leave a comment on someone else's page, I want to be able to delete it if I want to. It should be my prerogative.
I want to have control over my own comments. If I leave a comment on someone else's page, I don't want them to be able to edit it and change my words entirely while still attributing them to me. Particularly since there is no notification that a change was made. All appearances indicate that a comment is originally as it was made by the person whose name is beside it. Which can also be forged.
I want to have control over my own comments. If I leave a comment on someone else's page, I want to be notified if I get a reply to my own comment. It's just polite.
I want to have control over my own comments. I call that intellectual property. And it's mine.

It really confused me the other day when I realised there was the option to edit other people's comments. Why would I want to do that? If they said something that I didn't like I would either comment back with my disagreement, ignore them or if it was that bad... delete it, I would never change what they said. It also really annoys me that I get no notification if someone has replied to a comment that I made. I feel like a bit of a desperate stalker if I keep going back to check.
Hey, no one knows you're stalking them though, if that's any consolation. Since we have no footprints anymore. Or even a counter. :-/
I share those same issues. Do you think anyone is listening? Where's the Xanga NSA?
I'm pretty convinced I don't have a voice anymore.
I wonder where the heck http://edlives.xanga.com went, too. Probably joined Dan wherever he ran off to.
I wish I had answers for you. Right now, I don't. :-/
John/xanga just doesn't care about this. I left a desperate Help comment about this for John over a week ago and got no reply. This should their #1 issue to solve. Instead, they are just counting their money and doing the bare minimum to avoid those who have paid and still have no access from suing them.
edlives no more. He promoted this and then died.
A terrible part of my soul thoroughly loves the fact that the -ish sites (particularly momaroo) haven't come back up yet. Perhaps that has Ed occupied, the fact that it's maybe not happening.
hey, baby, i have updated my last post since you commented. I see that you left a fully-endorsing comment. so just want to give you the chance to re-read in case you don't want to fully endorse my updated sentiments.

Thanks, Steve. I still find no fault in your post. My comment remains true.
We should start a petition! I'll sign!
I also want to be able to reply to others and know when people reply to my comments
